The 99th Academy Awards, given by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honor the best in film for movies released in the United States between January 1 and December 31, 2026. The nominations for the 99th Academy Awards are scheduled to be announced on January 21, 2027, with the awards ceremony scheduled for March 14, 2027, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. This market will resolve according to the number of Oscar nominations received by "The Odyssey," or by people for their roles in "The Odyssey," during the official nominations announcement, expected on January 21, 2027. Each nomination will count once even if it has multiple nominees within a single category. If the nominations are partially announced by February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of nominations received by the specified film up until that point. If, for any reason, no nominations are declared by February 28, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Oscars; however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
